Smoke in a Residence Prompts Multi Company Response

On this date, at 5:38 PM, RFC, Berwyn Fire Company and the Upper Merion Fire Department were dispatched to a reported building fire on Ivywood Lane in the Wayne section of Tredyffrin Township.
RFC and Berwyn apparatus arrived and soon discovered that the source of the smoke was a malfunctioning oil furnace.
Upper Merion was recalled from the assignment.
Radnor and Berwyn crews spent thirty minutes using PPV to ventilate the house of the smoke and resulting CO.
Once the ventilation was complete, RFC and Berwyn cleared the scene.
