Assist to the Bridgeport Fire Department

Just before 5:30 this afternoon, RFC was dispatched for the engine to assist the Bridgeport Fire Department on a commercial building fire on DeKalb Pike.
Engine 15 responded with Battalion Chief and crew, Chief and Assistant 15 responded in the Command vehicles and met them on the scene.
Once on location, Engine 15 was assigned to assist with water supply and the remaining crew from the engine and the Chiefs were placed in service with fire suppression.
Crews remained on scene for two and a half hours until they were released by Bridgeport Command.
