At 9:49 this morning, RFC was dispatched to Julip Run for a fuel spill. Notes indicated that a truck had overturned. Squad and Tac 15 responded and upon arrival, found a landscaping truck had turned on its’ side while making a delivery of dirt. The driver kicked out the windshield and gotten out on his own. EMS was dispatched to the scene for an evaluation. Fire crews spread oil dry to contain the flow of hydraulic fluid on the driveway. Firefighters then assisted by shoveling out the remaining dirt in the bed to lighten the load for the tow company. Crews remained on location until a tow truck arrived to right the vehicle. Crews returned to the firehouse approximately two hours after the incident started.
