This morning, a little after 7:30, RFC was dispatched to East Lancaster Avenue and Waynewood Road for a three vehicle crash.
Arriving RTPD officers reported a pregnant subject in one car and a male who was confined in the second car. The third car involved had been parked with no occupants inside.
Crews arrived and the EMS crew began assessment and patient packaging of the female.
Fire crews used the rescue tools and popped open the driver's door to assist the male out of the car.
Both subjects were transported to hospitals for further evaluation and treatment.
The fire crew returned to the firehouse within thirty minutes.
