RFC was dispatched to Morris Road at 3:09 PM for a crash, reported to be a rollover with entrapment.
Chief 15 arrived and confirmed the above report. There was also an injury in the other vehicle and a second MICU was requested.
Crews arrived and stabilized the vehicle as RFC EMS personnel assessed the patient. Once the medic reported that the patient was stable, the Squad crew went to work with rescue tools to extricate the driver.
Berwyn's MICU arrived and transported the second patient.
Once freed, the RFC MICU transported the patient to the hospital.
RFC personnel remained on the scene until tow trucks arrived to upright the vehicle.
Fire crews returned to the firehouse a little after 4 PM.
