Drill on Monday, March 13th, had the volunteers and career staff working with the new Paratech air bags.
Members viewed videos to learn about the system before going out into the engine bay for the "hands on" session.
Everyone had a chance to operate all aspects of the various airbags, including the regulators, manifolds, various hoses needed and the airbags themselves.
The Paratech system is located on the new Squad and will be used for vehicle rescue, technical rescue and any other application requiring the lifting of heavy objects to effect a rescue.
