Last week, we had the pleasure of welcoming some of our younger residents to the firehouse. They had raised money by selling baked goods at the recent Wayne Porch Fest event, and decided to donate their earnings to help the fire company in our service to the community.
The kids, along with their moms, were given a tour of the firehose as well as a sincere thank you from the chief and staff.
