On May 19th around 4:30 in the afternoon, Radnor Fire Company was dispatched for an injured subject somewhere on a trail in the area of the Willows Park.
Delaware County Emergency Services was able to ping the caller's phone and responding units used this information to locate the subject in the area of Skunk Hollow Park.
RFC arrived and EMS started treating the subject. ATV 15 had to navigate through heavy brush, mud and steep slopes to access the injured person.
At the request of EMS Command, Penn Star was dispatched to transport the subject to CHOP in Philadelphia.
The subject was removed from the trail by ATV 15 to the waiting MICU. The MICU made the transport to the Willows Park where an LZ had been established by Rescue 15.
Penn Star completed the final leg to the hospital and RFC cleared the scene by 6 PM.
