On Friday, March 25th at 1:45 AM, Radnor Fire Company, along with an engine from Berwyn Fire Company, was dispatched to a reported house fire on Longwood Drive.
Radnor Police arrived and reported heavy smoke coming from the roof.
Chief 15 arrived and reported fire showing on the Delta side of the house.
The resident reported that no one was in the house.
Radnor and Berwyn crews deployed multiple 1 3/4" hose lines and attacked the fire.
Bryn Mawr and Gladwyne Fire Companies were also dispatched to the scene for support.
Firefighters returned to the firehouse at 3:30 AM and remained on station for another hour, cleaning and getting the equipment back in service.
