On Monday, December 13th just before 6 pm, Radnor Fire Company was called to assist the Berwyn Fire Company in the 900 block of North Valley Forge Road for a chimney fire.
Quint 15 responded with a crew of six and laddered the roof to inspect the chimney for fire extension.
Crews were released from the scene within an hour.

The next day, at 10:10 am, Berwyn Fire Company responded to a lawn tractor on fire in a field in Valley Forge Park.
Due to the remote location, Tac 15 was requested to assist in extinguishing the fire.
The crew from the Tac used the on board foam system to put out the flames.
Valley Forge Fire Company's Brush truck shuttled water to the Tac.
Crews wrapped up after approximately two hours.
