Shortly after 8 PM, RFC was dispatched to Oakford Road for a tree that fell onto the roof of a house.

Deputy 15 and Quint 15 arrived and checked on the residents who were all accounted for and had no injuries. Crews further found that a large tree fell on the roof, severely damaging part of the second floor. The power line from the street was knocked to the ground, however, the house still had electricity.

PECO Gas and Electric were notified to respond.
A call was also made to Radnor Township Codes.
The house was checked for gas leaks and CO with none found.

RFC crews shut down power to the parts of the house affected by the tree.
While awaiting the township and PECO crews, firefighters assisted the residents with gathering some of their belongings from the second floor.

When PECO arrived, the gas and electric service to the house was disconnected.
RFC then requested Aqua respond to shut off the water to the house to prevent freezing pipes.
RFC cleared the scene a little after 9 PM.
