Around 6:30 pm, RFC was dispatched, along with units from Montgomery County, to a reported rollover crash at mile marker 13 northbound in Radnor Township.
As crews were responding, Montgomery County reported that they could see the crash on the highway cameras and it was actually at mile marker 14.6 northbound in Lower Merion Township.
RFC crews arrived first and confirmed the updated location.
The driver had self extricated and was outside the vehicle upon arrival, suffering from minor injuries.
MICU 15 B transported the driver to a local hospital.
The crew from Squad 15 blocked the right shoulder and right lane for the safety of the first responders.
The vehicle in the crash was found to be an electric vehicle and the skid plate on the bottom covering the batteries was cracked.
RFC stood by until the vehicle was able to be righted and on the bed of the tow truck.
Crews cleared the scene after a little more than two hours.

Units: Deputy 15, MICU 15 B, Squad 15
