RFC was dispatched to I-476, mile marker 11.8 northbound for a crash with injury at 7:45 am.
Arriving crews found a vehicle through the guardrail and stopped on an embankment.
The lone occupant was assisted from the car and transported to a local trauma center.
Crews used a power saw to cut the mangled guardrail to get it away from the traveled portion of the highway.
Fire crews cleared the scene in less than thirty minutes.
