At 8:39 pm on the 27th, RFC was dispatched to the Blue Route at mile marker 12.3 northbound for a crash with injury.
Arriving crews found a vehicle had struck a sign board trailer on the right shoulder of the highway.
The lone occupant of the car was transported to a local hospital for treatment.
RFC continued to block the two right lanes of the road while PSP and a construction outfit made arrangements to have the trailer removed.
Once additional construction vehicles arrived, RFC cleared.
