On December 26, 2009 at 08:55 hours the local rescue box was struck for an accident with entrapment in the area of Rt. 30 and Radnor Chester Rd. Squad-15 with 15-13 (Russell) arrived to find a single car wrapped around a utility pole. Crews went to work immediately to free the single occupant. All hands remained in-service for over 30 minutes working to free the victim. Due to the vehicle being wrapped around the pole the winch on Resuce-15 was used to pull the vehicle away from the pole. Due to the weather the patient was transported to an area trauma center.
