Monday, September 14, 2009 - At 19:47 hours fireboard transmitted the M.O.D. box alarm for 501 Lawrence Rd. Ladder-15 hit the street with a full crew just seconds after dispatch. Arriving as the 2nd due truck company crews prepared for ventilation and search. Fire was reported in the basement and crews from Broomall had water on the fire. Smoke ejectors and PPV fans off of the Ladder were used to ventilate the smoke from the 3 story apartment building. 15-1 arrived with a full crew and stood by at the hydrant on Lawrence Rd. All units took up at 20:27 hours. While enroute back to station Ladder-15 took in an alarm system on King of Prussia Rd. After confirming the system was malfunctioning crews returned to station to find the monthly meetings hadn't begun!
