On May 28th, at 1427 hours, Radnor Fire Company was dispatched to the 300 block of Windsor Avenue for a report of smoke and flames coming from a residential home. Quint 15 and Chief 15 arrived, confirmed the report and requested additional units from neighboring fire companies.
The Quint crew made entry with an 1 3/4" hose line and ran into a heavy smoke condition. The crew requested that ventilation be performed to assist them.
Additional personnel raised a ladder to the rear of the house and started to open the exterior wall. The interior crew located the fire in the attic and extinguished the flames.
